Of course you do! This is your first time visiting a bridesmaid only boutique and the first time you will receive the undivided attention of one of our stylists. Read below as we try to answer the many questions that the brides and maids before you have asked. If your question is not answered, just shoot us an email and ask away!
How long is my appointment?
The appointment time is for one hour. This allows us to have a dedicated stylist available to cater to your needs.
I am in the area, can I stop in?
If you stop in and we have an appointment in progress, we kindly ask that you schedule your own private appointment at that time. We want each of our clients to experience our service, which is why we prefer an appointment.
What should I do if I’m running late?
If you are running late, please give us a call. If we are in an appointment please leave a message. Though we understand that you might be running late, please understand that this may limit your appointment length of time. If there is not an appointment following yours, we are happy to extend your time.
If we do have an appointment following yours and you are more than 20 minutes late, we will need to reschedule you to a later time.
Where can I park?
There is plentiful parking available on site. There is additional parking in the back if needed.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
Ideas! Visit our designers’ websites to select a few of your favorite styles before your appointment. If you want to bring a strapless bra and shoes, please do!
How many people can I bring?
We recommend bringing no more than 3-4 of your most trusted friends and family. We have limited seating and find that bringing the people whose opinion you value most to the appointment allows a more enjoyable time.
What is the price range of your dresses?
We offer a wide selection of bridesmaid dresses that range in price from $175 – $350. The average price is around $250. Discounts vary by designer.
What size are your samples?
We have most of the current collection of dresses from each of our designers. Our samples range from size 8 to size 12.
My bridesmaids live throughout the country. Can you ship the dresses everywhere?
Of course! We handle this situation for most of our brides. We coordinate the ordering process for you from start to finish and can ship dresses to any state or country. The bridesmaid is responsible for the shipping charge and it will vary by region. We always recommend that all of the dresses are ordered from the same store at the same time. This ensures the dresses are all cut from the same fabric as fabric colors do vary by dye lot.
My dress does not fit?
Most dresses do not fit perfectly. Please remember that the dresses are not made custom to your measurements. When you place your order, you selected a size based on a size chart with your measurements at the time. Studio Bridesmaid stylists are available to share suggestions on clever ways to avoid alterations. Most dresses will need alterations.
Do you offer Alterations?
Not at this time. We have many reputable tailors in the area that we would be happy to recommend. Please remember that Studio Bridesmaid is not responsible for the size that you ordered or the garment after you have taken it to the tailor.
I am a pregnant bridesmaid, what should I do?
First things first, please tell the bride. Not only will it make the dress selection easier, but your bride deserves to know. She can then be sure to accommodate you with your dress, since many of our designers offer dresses in maternity. The dresses may be a different style than the rest of the bridal party but at least the dress will be comfortable and fit your shape better than a non-maternity style.
